Flats and Properties with Communal Collections
To keep the use of landfill sites to a minimum and to keep a clean and green environment, we encourage you to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible.
TOR2 has increased the range of recyclable items collected as part of the communal recycling scheme, helping residents to recycle up to 85% of their waste.

What can you recycle?
Below are the items that can be put in each container. Where possible, lids/tops should be removed from plastic bottles and all containers and bottles should be rinsed out. Please squash down items where applicable to ensure that we can collect the maximum volume of recyclable material, and please try to flatten cardboard so we can collect more on each round.Please do not put recyclables in plastic bags.
You can recycle the following items in your containers which will be clearly marked:
Paper Container
• Paper, including Yellow Pages, junk mail, all types of envelopes and shredded paperGlass container
• Mixed glass, bottles and jars (rinsed)Cardboard Container
