Unfortunately, the level of demand for the excellent Waste Doctor service has exceeded expectation. Through the recruitment of additional staff, the Waste Doctors have now cleared this backlog. If your query has not been answered by a Waste Doctor either call Torbay Council’s Customer First call centre on 01803 207 900 to book another call back or email them on wastedoctors@tor2.co.uk.

To ensure all residents are ready for the change in their recycling and waste services and have the opportunity to ask questions, a team of ‘Waste Doctors’ will attend roadshows and speak to local community and interest groups during autumn 2010. They will also visit homes to talk to residents and offer assistance to those who might need extra help to get going with the new services. You can contact a Waste Doctor by calling Torbay Council’s Customer First call centre on 01803 207900 or email them on wastedoctors@tor2.co.uk.

We apologise to all of those who have tried calling the help lines but been unable to get through, call volumes are obviously very high at the moment. We encourage people to keep trying and we will get to all the calls eventually. However you might find the answer to your query on the FAQs section, we have posted full questions and answers on the website www.tor2.co.uk.
